Fox Valley Literacy provides free tutoring for adult learners in Outagamie, Waupaca, northern Calumet and northern Winnebago counties. By working to increase education levels, we are empowering individuals to create change in our community.
Fox Valley Literacy programs are completely free for all learners. We rely on the support of our donors to bring accessible adult education to our community. Please support us today!
Make a one-time donation to support literacy in your community, or make an ongoing impact with a monthly gift!
In Outagamie County alone, 12,100 residents lack literacy skills according to the Institute of Education Sciences.
Every dollar you donate goes toward furthering Fox Valley Literacy’s mission of sharing the power of learning to transform lives and enrich the community.
When you make a monthly gift of $30 or more, you support a student’s work at Fox Valley Literacy!
Imagine not being able to help your child with their homework or struggling to read the instructions on a medication label. Challenges with literacy affect every area of a person’s life, as well as the greater community.
When you sponsor a student, you are giving a gift that will last a lifetime and benefit future generations. You will also receive updates from Fox Valley Literacy about how your gift is empowering students to achieve their educational and occupational goals.
Your LEGACY gift will help adult literacy education in the Fox Cities continue into the future. A legacy gift lives on after your lifetime and often takes the form of a bequest in a will, or naming Fox Valley Literacy’s endowment as a beneficiary of an insurance policy, an individual retirement account (IRA) or another bank or brokerage account.
Direct donations to our endowment are always accepted. Monies donated to our endowment are accumulated over the years so the earnings from those funds generate support for our current work and provide additional earnings and growth for support of literacy programs in the future.
Fox Valley Literacy’s endowment, started in 1999, is held by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region. Our organization is recognized by the IRS as a 501C3 not-for-profit organization and the legal title (necessary for legacy documents) is Fox Valley Literacy Council, Inc.
If you have questions about legacy giving, the Fox Valley Literacy endowment, or wish to share news of your plans for a legacy gift we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Executive Director Brian Leone Tracy by submitting this form.
